Two more COVID fatalities reported

The Ministry of Health yesterday said that as of December 30th, 2021, two more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 1054.

Details on the latest fatalities follow:

Meanwhile, the ministry said that 178 new cases of the virus were reported. This is a surge compared to recent days. Six persons are in the ICU.
