A variety of apples are grown in Guyana for ages.

If the question relates to apples; "generally called ice apple"; grown primarily in the US_of_A, Canada, etc.; those are imported ones.

In the 1970's Forbes Burnham was unsuccessful to grow the imported types in the Mazaruni area.
