What are you all doing for the holidays? I may go to the nearby farm and buy a sheep. Mutton curry, dhall puri and other Guyanese goodies on the menu. I have a lot to be thankful for. It has been a very eventful year.

Im trying to plan my menus for the entire holiday..Xmas eve n Day..boxing day  n 27th as the girls r staying over from 24-27th

So far I’ve got .pepperpot n home made bread n smoked turkey

(dhalpuri n lamb curry(few lbs though..hehehe)

never cooked ham before so i will see ifi can get a smallone n try for the family (me nah eat beef, pork, lamb n goat…me get duck mouth though..hehehe)

the girls love the mash potato n macaroni pie so I cant disappoint them

will try a new recipe(i try 1 each yr) Jalfrezi ( my Pakistani co-worker shared her recipe with me

will do some butterflap n cheese rolls..n some biganee n mixed veggies pakoras as snacks

I havent  baked cake as yet as I am not doing black cake but I want to TRY our Guyanese fruit (rich…plenty fruits) cake n i saw a recipe for a sponge cake with banana n pineapple..looks yummy!

well u tek care n enjoy d mutton curry n whatever goodies d wifee makes..oh wait!! R u cooking d mutton curry??
