Reply to "Leave the oil in the ground? No responsible government should volunteer for its people to stay poor, says Guyana’s President"

What happens in Glasgow at COP26 will have a profound impact on the future of fossil fuels.  Irfaan Ali talks as if he controls the production of oil in Guyana.  Neither he nor Jagdeo does. It is Exxon and its partners that do and they will come under increasing pressure from their stakeholders to curtail production.  The move to renewables is gathering pace.
