Don:

Rai ought not be categorized with Teekah, Chandi, Moses and Ramjattan.

Mistake on my part---I should have omitted him from the list of traitors and turncoats.

My dad actually viewed Rai as a principled man---and had Cheddi listened to Rai things would have been different in Guyana.

Listen! I never supported Cheddi and his communist nonsense---and we all know Forbes ran circles around Cheddi.

Having said that I was pleased when Cheddi took over in 1992----the world had changed---the PNC had bankrupted Guyana----and I rooted for Cheddi.

Like what D_G did when Burnham got into power?

Thank you for clearing that up. I agree with the last paragraph.

Did it ever cross your mind that PPP don't need traitors and rejects from the AFC? They chose APNU because only APNU will accept AFC outdated economists. Don't jump on the PPP. This is not their problem. This is AFC problem. When it all said and done, only Moses and Ramjattan will be left for you to glorify.

I can't get over it.

As soon as I saw TK in the APNU release, I suspected an earthquake was going to take place. This looks more like a vindictive move on their part--going to PNC (Oops, APNU). They will regret it.

I agree with you Cobra. The PPP needs former House of Israel murderers who have Indian blood on their hands. Suddenly the dunce killers become Presidential advisers. Next election the President will make one of them his Prime Ministerial Candidate.

What did Burnham offer you? You were a PNC supporter, Soup Drinker.

Mitt, I was never a Burnham  supporter and will never be. Burnham say you got to be born a PNC, you just cannot become a PNC. God bless me with a brain and I use it wisely.

Khemraj Ramjattan:

AFC Leader, Khemraj Ramjattan expressed disappointment at the move, saying that while he was unaware of discontent in his party, bla, bla, bla.

He was also unaware of Nigel & Cathy Hughes conflict of interest, but he chose to defend them with his last breath of lies. If you don't know what is going in your party, then why be a leader? Well, Mr. Ramjattan there is more to come, and you will still be unaware. Your new name should beunderwear.

Because he was a PNC stooge at that time, slurping soup from the Kabaka's trough.

I'm not talking about Rai. D_G was the PNC stooge. You need to be up to date with what happens around here if you're going to participate. Like you lick Granger BT before since you know what's in there.

Interesting!

Moses was the only AFC executive totally opposed to a coalition with APNU----all the others were amenable to a coalition.

Well, some of the AFC boys have begun deserting.

The Rev still sees Ramotar winning the next election----incumbents don't lose easily.

He did not win the past election. He lost to the joint opposition by one seat. Next time around, it's possible that he may lead the opposition.

Ramotar did not win the election ?

Really ?

Then who is President and which party controls the executive branch, where all the milk and honey flows ?

BOTTOM LINE:

Despite the PPP complacency and despite all the charges of corruption that was thrown against Jagdeo and his cabal, the PPP still managed to get 48.6% of the votes in the 2011 election.

And in the next election---the probability favors the incumbent Ramotar winning the presidency again.

That's right. He did not win the election. He won the Presidency. In a true democracy, this would not have happened.

This was the result of the 1992 presidential election in America:

43.01%---Clinton(Democrat)

37.45%---Bush(Republican)

18.91%---Perot(Independent)

CLINTON WON THE PRESIDENCY----43.01% of the votes won him the electoral college.

QUESTION:

Will you say America is not a true democracy---Clinton won the Presidency in 1992 with 43% of the votes ?

America have many checks and balances to tame the powers of the President. Guyana has none except corrupt chosen politicians.
