In the 1970's Forbes Burnham was unsuccessful to grow the imported types in the Mazaruni area.

That was very smart of him to have tried to grow apples so many years ago. Today, many foreign fruits and vegetables that we can actually grow on Guyana soil have not even tried as yet. The sacred principle to try and fail than fail to try is not meshing up today.

Smart ? Man, you must be joking; any third standard schoolboy would readily tell you that if Burnham made such a suggestion, he could not have been anything short of a full-fledged idiot !

He has to be smart to be president of Guyana for 28 years. Why do you think his idea (to see if Apple can grow in Guyana) is an idiotic idea?

If Burnham was so smart.... why don't you tell us why:

- it was necessary for him to rig every election and referendum ?

- Guyana was being likened to Haiti ?

- there was a virtual exodus of people from Guyana ?

- every industry just about collapsed ?

- just about every commodity, including food, was in short supply ?

- it was crime for a citizen to have even US$1 in his/her possession ?

Those were the Burnham 'boom' days, weren't they !! The truth is that Burnham was one of the biggest '-unts' ever to be spawned in Guyana and his underling Granger appears to be doing everything possible to surpass the record of his jack-ass mentor !!  If you have to ask about growing apples in Guyana, you must be intellectually very similar to the most famous election rigger and dumb-ass ka-ka hole Guyana ever had !

Forbes Burnham was not president for 28 years in Guyana.

He was president from 1980 to 1985 when he died.

He was prime minister from 1964 to 1980.

Established sources have publicly stated that the elections after 1964 were fraudulently compiled to give the PNC victory.

Thank you for making that correction, but that wasn't the point I was making to Keffer. It's about Apple planting in Guyana.

Most certainly you would be considered an idiot; a monumental one too, because it is common knowledge that certain things are naturally impossible. By your reasoning, it would make sense to attempt selling winter coats to Guyanese because you obtained them at a cheap price ! Burnham was a failure in just about everything he and his goons undertook because his pre-occupation was power and disrespect for the intelligence of others; particularly those who were the producers of wealth in the country. Walter Rodney was 100% correct in relating the famous mythical 'Midas touch' to Burnham, except that in Burnham's case things did not turn into gold; they turned in shit ! The moron operated with disdain and disrespect for the people as he cheated and rigged every election that he an his goons participated in ! Are you going to dispute that too ?

I will leave the 'jump around like monkeys' for you.

Burnham trying such an experiment was completely asinine because there was already copious documented information which clearly indicated such an  experiment was doomed to fail. Why ? .... because it was already an established biological fact that apple trees will not grow and flourish in tropical climates ! What you and dumb-ass Burnham attempted to do was to defy an already a known natural impossibility ! Only an idiot will attempt such a blatantly stupid exercise; no doubt to excite his good-for nothing, dumb followers and it evidently worked ! In plain & simple terms the idiot was trying to defy nature and, to make matters worse, folks like you were drunk and screaming with elation over Burnham's brilliance ! There was nothing brilliant whatsoever about Burnham, my friend; he was a thug and a blatant rigger of elections who virtually destroyed a beautiful country ! It seems to me that, if Burnham had told Guyanese to pour water, instead of gasoline, into the gas tanks of their cars, folks like you would have jumping for joy about his 'brilliance' ! Because of Burnham's 'brilliance', Guyanese were ridiculed and Guyana became the laughing stock of the entire Caribbean .... all because of the 'brilliance' of your idol !

Prince, it looks like you have indeed opted to jump like a monkey ! Or is it a case that 'cat got you tongue' ?
