An AFC backer told me that he was waiting to see what this lady going to do before he makes any judgment of her.  He, like Bharat, disregarded the court rulings she made in the past.  Well, I am sure this AFC backer is now deeply disappointed with what this lady is doing.  This AFC backer is not a typical follower who  gobbles down anything without thorough analysis. He supported the AFC with the hope lessening corruption and making economy more robust. The diplomatic community are watching the situation carefully. They are not going to come out looking like they are on any side. They will umpire the game and decide when to call foul.  With an exception of the ABC nations nobody can coerce the PNC into respecting the constitution and holding free elections.  Opposition forces have to count on these countries

This decision on elections in February 2020 is NOT in concurrence with the Constitution of Guyana.

After the CCJ decision that the no confidence vote in December 2018 WAS valid, it is incumbent that the PNCR/AFC government MUST have elections within three months of the official publications of the decisions.

GECOM must have its data/information up-to-date since the constitution clearly states that should a no confidence vote be valid in parliament, elections MUST be held within three months.

The inability of GECOM to have its records current/up-to-date does not take precedent over any sections of the constitution specific to the issue of a valid no confidence vote and consequential election date.
