He was very good in his role as the police inspector in Slumdog...

Now I remembered him. I checked YouTube.  He played the adult Pi.  That guy was young.

 The movie Namesake, was good a Mira Nair's film  

I have to watch it.

He also came in a movie called the killer ( hindi ). Nice songs.
