JAGDEO SEEKS TO SHIFT FOCUS AWAY FROM PPP MISMANAGEMENT, CORRUPTION, INCOMPETENCE, DISCRIMINATION AND DICTATORSHIP
The laws of Guyana no longer matter to the PPP installed regime. Democracy is just a word being used to mask the Ali/PPP installed regime quest for domination of all facets of life in Guyana.
The consistent and persistent destruction of the procurement system in Guyana is one of the mechanism being used to ensure most contracts go to those who are PPP or PPP aligned. The aim is to enrich to dominate.
It has now become fashionable for a lot of public works to be classified as emergency so that the installed regime can avoid public tender. What the installed regime is doing is eating away at the rule of law and paying little or no attention to transparency and accountability. Transparency and accountability do not matter to dictators.
The above is coupled with consistent and persistent acts which have destroyed the Guyana Police Force and transformed it into an instrument of oppression to be used against innocent Guyanese.
The trumped up charges against former senior policemen, including Mr. Paul Slowe who historically stood up to PPP excesses, is clearly an act to instill fear, besmirch their character and signal to all Guyanese that the installed regime can, and will use the law against innocent Guyanese.
These acts clearly have undermined the GPF and have done irreparable damage to the GPF. But again, the PPP is comfortable with a divided and damaged GPF. It makes it easy to manipulate.
While the “lawmen” are being misused and instituting trumped up charges, the credibility and confidence in the police are being eroded and the real crimes that are being committed by PPP cronies are being swept under the carpet. That is the case with the multi million dollars fraud at Guyoil and GWI, among others, which will clearly end without any charges against those who are fraudulently converting the nation’s resources for their own personal enrichment.
The foregoing demoralises the GPF and creates the conditions for the Ali/PPP illegitimate regime to plunder the treasury.
The Ali/PPP installed regime is prepared to enrich themselves at the expense of their own base. They rule Guyana in the interest of the few - the PPP elite, friends and family. There is no place for the development of the entire Guyana.
Having committed these unsavory acts, The pathological liar Jagdeo convenes a Press Conference to shift focus away from the Ali/PPP installed regime’s egregious acts of incompetence, racism, vindictiveness, cronyism and corruption. The aim is to brow beat the people of Guyana by accusing the APNUAFC of not supporting vaccination.
The APNUAFC has always been committed to fighting the pandemic. It was the PPP while in opposition that was expressing skepticism about the pandemic. They then came to power and mismanaged the Covid 18 pandemic and are now seeking to shift blame away from its self.
At the same time they are violating people’s right to decide whether they want to be vaccinated or not, a right which we all enjoy under the UN Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. The Ali/PPP illegitimate regime must respect the rights of the members of the GDF and all Guyanese. They must desist from forcing people against their will.
Jagdeo is a liar with no good intention. No sane Guyanese must listen to him as he seeks to shift the focus away from their mismanagement of every aspect of the Covid pandemic. Let us stay focused.
While the GPF focus has been shifted away from law enforcement to political hatchet work, crime is spiraling out of control and policemen are back to pre 2015 policing where protection of the corrupt ruling elite, their friends, family, their ill gotten gains and their narco trafficking allies is the order of the day. The criminal state is back.
Jagdeo’s ranting and raving cannot bring down the high cost of living, it would not end the racism, it will not stop the destruction of the mangroves, it would not end the mismanagement of the economy, it would not restore transparency and accountability, it would not stop the PPP elite, friends and family from plundering the treasury and surely it will not reduce unemployment. It is aimed at shifting focus away from their incompetence and the criminal nature of the ruling dictatorial cabal. Let us stay focused.
