The basic AFC program is to call lots of attention to itself by complaining all the time, and then they say "It's not our job to offer solutions, we just want to have a discussion." Putting them in charge of parliament would be a recipe for paralysis.

This may be true however their allegiance with Kaiteur and the pNC have yielded political dividends. They keep getting face time in the news and are a thorn in the PPP's side and a very formidable watch dog. In fact the AFC seems to have had a profound effect on the PNC as they have moved from their ineffective mo fiah slow fiah way and have embraced the new found power in parliament to handcuff the govt.
