. . . Independent forensic expert Dr. Mark Robinson stated that the pellets recovered from the bodies were copper-coated and consistent with those found in some 00 shotgun cartridges. He further stated in his report that the police told him they had stopped using 00 cartridges in 2005 and that the sample provided by the police did not contain copper-coated pellets.

Persaud’s comment was in response to a question from Commissioner Dana Seetahal following his earlier statement that the police had not shot anyone. However, Seetahal pointed out that the fact that ammunition recovered was not police issue only proved that the persons were shot with ammunition not issued by the police.

Persaud then stated that the ranks would have left the station with their firearms loaded and he was “almost certain” that it would have been noticed if someone tried to load ammunition since they operated in groups.

He was then shown a video of a policeman loading a cartridge into his shotgun on the streets before the shooting and acknowledged that that was a breach of the Standing Operating Procedures. According to the crime chief, he will have an investigation launched into the issue . . .

Still does not exonerate PNC/AFC operatives for shooting their own supporters to cause unrest. The agents of the PNC/AFC knew that police carried weapons and would be blamed for any shooting. These creatures under orders from the afc/pnc leadership shot down their own and pinned the blame on police.  Despite all the verbose post above from Redux, the police were still not found to be culpable.

Reminds me of the PPP folks who put fire to their own property in Wismar and blamed it on PNC rioters. It was obviously an insurance job.
