This is in honor of mother's day where a seventeen years old mother breast feeds her baby. There's so much more this picture can says about mothers.

I remembered my mom tried that boil rice roti thing and then stop because we didn't like it. This was to "stretch" the flour as she would say. We told her we rather eat rice in the morning than that. Gosh, life was tough sometimes, huh?

I remember her sitting there not knowing what to put in my brother's lunch box.

I started high school in the peak of food shortage so lunch was either what mom cooked or starved. Thankfully most children brought rice and curry for lunch My lunch bowl was a butter dish
