Liza Phase 1 is a producing conventional oil field located in ultra-deepwater in Guyana and is operated by Esso Exploration and Production Guyana. The field is located in block Stabroek, with water depth of 5,719 feet.

Field participation details

The field is owned by Exxon Mobil, China National Offshore Oil and Hess.

Production from Liza Phase 1

The Liza Phase 1 conventional oil field recovered 5.60% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2022. The peak production was approximately 106.57 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2050. The field currently accounts for approximately 100% of the country’s daily output.

Liza Phase 2 is a producing conventional oil field located in ultra-deepwater in Guyana and is operated by Esso Exploration and Production Guyana. The field is located in block Stabroek, with water depth of 6,234 feet.

Field participation details

The field is owned by Hess, China National Offshore Oil and Exxon Mobil.

Production from Liza Phase 2

The Liza Phase 2 conventional oil field with peak production expected in 2024. The peak production will approximately 214.84 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 62 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2043.
