The Plan has to be approved by Parliament. The cost of the plans is what matters to me. Where would the money come from? The ABC countries would not be giving them any hand outs.. Talk is cheap.

Hold a second, you went to school on a Sunday?
How can it be possible that the Establishment of the Public Procurement Commission have to be approved by the Parlaiment when it is the Parliament that instructed its establishment and Jagdeo and Rumtar refused to carry out this instruction.
You playing right?
You think we in the coalition are dummies and allow a minority opposition to bully us right?
You will now see the act of incompetence when the PNC government starts to govern. They will have to present a budget for the first hundred days in office. Guyana is at a standstill because there is no Government yet and these former hooligans turned saints already spent millions on promises.

What PNC. Correct yourself -
"We went into the General and Regional elections on 11th May 2015 as a grand Coalition, comprising six parties β the Alliance For Change; Guyana Action Party; Justice For All Party; National Front Alliance; Peopleβs National Congress Reform and Working Peopleβs Alliance β and won the support of the majority of people. " -
words of David Granger 8th Executive President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.

Rass that sound nice. The kurillie racist hearts must be burning when I say those words.
Burn more.
David Granger 8th Executive President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.
Would like to believe that they will have to deal with the Money Laundering Bill asap
PPP will oppose this bill, they never wanted it passed in the first place.
Would you need the PPP/C approval, since the APNU/AFC have a 33 seat majority?
Doubt as long as it does not require constitutional chnges.
Base, this should be on the front burner, because we do not want our relatives back home to go through many red tapes for the lil small piece that goes their way.
I hate to be a pessimist, but May 11 marks the end of any Indian as President. Granger will not make the changes or he himself would have made it a platform mantra, he did NOT. The AFC and their supporters will sooner or later see the light. Granger played the "Long Game" and they fell for it. PNC will now rule infinitely, the AFC will be debased as a partner and suffer the UF syndrome, and all wash and tun down, as they say.
If Granger who is old and should by any means passed away, would the Alliance make Moses the President?

YES.
This is not the PPP and their brand of racism.
Least we forget:
The coalition has produced a 100 day plan that entails the review of taxes, increase of salaries and old age pension, an anti-corruption fight, liberalization of the Telecommunication and ICT sectors, several task forces on crime and security, and benefits for Guyanaβs small miners.
The coalition will have to meet this requirement, no excuse.
Might not be possible, but I do think that they will tackle some of the most important..........which is good enough
1) Increase Public Servants by 10 Percent
2) Increase the Security Services by 20 Percent?
3) Increase Pensioners to 15,000 per month
4) Reduce to Berbice Bridge Crossing by half?
5) Announce the date for the holding of local government elections,
6) Liberalization of the Telecommunication and ICT sectors,
(Linden will finally get their Television Station, Sharma might get
the okay to increase his signal) More will be given Radio's stations)
7) Within the first 100 days, the Coalition intends to bring constitutional
reform, the establishment of the Procurement commission.
8) Reduction of the Value Added Tax
Did I miss any?
I would propose scrapping the Berbice bridge toll for people on foot or bicycle. Local vehicle owners should only have to pay half price for a return journey. Heavy commercial vehicles like trucks with cargo should pay double.

I figure that the Income Tax threshold will be increased, cannot say by what amount, but this would be a budgetary allocation, will have to wait for the 2015 Budget:
Increased payroll and pension and then decrease all revenues.
This looks like an attempt to make Indians richer. What do you think caribny would say?

caribny will say that you are guessing your way, did you look through your crystal ball to see that there will be a decrease of all revenues?

Cha cha Rama, this answers your question of where the money gonna come from:

People like KishanB got fooled for a lil while by the shiny new toy which he learned later on was no more than an old non-functioning one only given a new coat of paint.

In truth, the wickedness of the PNC is very easy to recognize. It has not really changed over the past 50+ years.
Don't forget the vociferous political pundit, D2 who was mesmerized by the false promises of the coalition parties and the gross exaggeration of corruption under the PPP/C government.
