THERE is that well known Guyanese saying: When ‘lil boy smelling eself’ that aptly fits the political opposition belief and perception of itself and new role within the current 10th Parliament.Sometime ago, there was an opinion from a certain APNU opposition shadow minister that Parliament is beginning to be more accountable because of the vigilance and pressure from the opposition. There is also a recent letter in the Stabroek News which also supports this line. |
