Clem Seecharan writes: "African trust in Forbes was sustained by an enduring sense of disentitlement: loss of portions of their ancestral land to Indians; the idea of an ‘Indian Colony’ in Guyana, advanced by J.A. Luckhoo, C.R. Jacob (senior), Dr Wharton and others...."

Looks like my bhai Prashad cannot be Father of that special Indian nation he advocates ardently. BTW, C.R. Jacob and Dr Wharton were Indo-Guyanese.

This CLEM banna is a knucklehead. Its the British who engineered the divisions in Guyana. Those divisions were in the making long before Jagan set foot on the land. Africans trust Burnham because of race, just like the Indos trusted Jagan.

Our aim must always be the achievement of an independent sovereign country on the South American continental. It is the only way that our cultures and religions will survive into the future.  Also, it is the only way to guarantee that our dignity as human beings and our human rights will be protected.

Prashad

Prashad is very confident that when the vote takes place in the future 54 percent of East Indians of Guyana, 20 percent of Douglas and 15 percent of Guyana's general population will support the creation of a new sovereign country.

Yo banna...so how is this going to work and who will lead the movement?

Really? Why? Are you saying that all the IndoGuyanese in foreign, multi-cultural lands have no dignity and human rights?

You try explaining that to those sleeping East Indian children who lost their lives. Try explaining that to the Senator's father who had his head chopped off. Try explaining that to the paralysed East Indian senior that was burned alive in his wheelchair. The only workable solution is the creation of an independent sovereign country for East Indians Guyanese. Douglas who love their East Indian heritage and allies of the East Indian people of Guyana.

They do to some extent in several countries but the issue is about having an independent sovereign country for East Indians Guyanese, Douglas who love their East Indian heritage and allies of the East Indian people where their human rights and dignity are protected.

You said "it is the only way to guarantee that our dignity as human beings and our human rights will be protected."

As far as I know East Indian culture is alive and well in Guyana and has been for quite a while. What is your point?

You are like an ostrich with it's head in the sand. I just mentioned three examples. Tell those people that their human rights were protected. There is a drastic decline in numbers of Hindus in Guyana. The Muslim numbers have bee stagnant for the past 20 years. If you have a government minister who cannot tell a major hindu festival from another major hindu festival which are major holidays . Do you honestly think that they would care when Hindus are no longer a major group in the future.

"Every time Guyana experience a change of Government or suffered a spike in the crime rate, especially when one group feels that they are being marginalized, there is a call for partition... With the popularity of the internet and social networking sites, the call for partition has risen to new heights. For instance there was a petition online asking for the partition of Guyana on a private Facebook account, accompanied by an already partitioned map of Guyana. It received twenty votes in favour of such an idea. There was also the same number of likes. However, thirty five persons shared it on their Facebook pages. Thus, the idea of partition in present day Guyana is not alien to most. The idea of partitioning modern Guyana can be attributed to a call made by Eusi Kwayana in 1961 as a solution to the race problem the country was experiencing. It can be granted that the concept of partition means different things to different people..."

The excerpt above is taken from this document. Prashad is not alone; from Eusi Kwayana to some people today, the idea of separate territories for Indos and Afros has been posited as one possible solution to Guyana's longstanding racial conflict.

Sir Gilbakka for East Indians in Guyana this is the most crucial time. East Indians of Guyana are caught in the perfect storm. The outcome if they remain a part of Guyana is indeed very bleak

Prash,

You always praised Joey.

How will you have your homeland when Joey said that he will join forces with the Anti-Indo segment in 2020 ? You need to pick your Allies very carefully and Joey is not one of them.

In the 2018, you're the one advocating a racist coolie state and I'm the ostrich? Are you saying that in three years of governance the coalition government has somehow drastically reduced the population of hindus and muslims? In three years? Why should anyone other than hundus care about hindus being a major group? When the hindus and muslims were in power, did they care about other groups? Get your head out your ass and stop your racist bullshit. Do you live in Guyana?

And you still haven't answered my question yet. Are you saying that all the IndoGuyanese in foreign, multi-cultural lands have no dignity and human rights?

Did I ever say that three years of coalition government caused East Indians in Guyana to be caught in a perfect storm of decline.  Absolutely not. It has been years upon years of living in a region of dominant creole culture couple with living in a society where the East Indian is seen as an inferior koolie.  The result is now the perfect storm of decline on all fronts for Guyanese East Indians.

So we can exclude your comment about the government minister not knowing hindu holidays and we can exclude your three examples because, obviously, they have little or nothing to do with your perceived declined of East Indian culture. In a region that is predominantly creole, what gives you the authority to demand a dominant hindu culture? If your self-esteem is so low as to make you feel inferior, on what grounds are you extending your low self-esteem to others? How do you plan to uproot all the IndoGuyanese who enjoy diversity and their lives in the Guyana of six races and move them to your racist enclave? Do you seriously believe that the majority of Indians in coolie India have more dignity than the majority of IndoGuyanese in creole Guyana?

When East Indians in Guyana become like the East Indians of Belize (an anthropology issue) or Jamaica (the bottom of the society) then no one can point their fingers at Prashad and said he did not do anything. PNC Riff Raff wants to play Mighty Canary with the future of East Indians of Guyana.

What has Prashad done so far for anyone, anywhere, other than seek to exacerbate the racial divide in Guyana from his safety in a multicultural nation?

It is very clear that you are an indo with low self exteem who depend on Caribbean Creole accolades to keep your self esteem above level. I have always said that the Guyana East Indian and Guyana Douglas are their own people who have their own unique culture and as a result should have their own nation. On the other hand, you justify your dependence on the accolades of the Carribbean Creole by saying to your self that without these accolades then you will end up in the slums of Calcutta. A truly pitiful situation indeed because it demonstrates that you are a curry Tommy.

If it's not too much trouble, pray tell how did this become very clear to you. From where did you get this garbage about accolades? It is your idea that Indians in multi-cultural society have low self-esteem and no dignity. Not mine. You can only arrive at this conclusion of low self-esteem from yourself and those around you. If you and your family think poorly of yourselves, do not extend that to other.
