The last entry was made on December 31, 2014. If you say that your source is KN then that is false. I wouldn't be surprised if you return to tell me that they removed the information.

Kaieteur News is not the only publication that read her revelation that Ramotar has already set an elections date.

Proof that the Foreign Minister deleted her recent comment from her Facebook page is shown in the thread which HM_Redux started, titled British High Commissioner decimates Birkett's juvenile response....

That thread has a report from News Source that includes the following:

'Guyana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Carolyn Rodrigues-Birkett turned to her Facebook page to respond to the British concerns and also dismissed concerns about sanctions from the UK or the Commonwealth by saying that such “threats” would be nothing new.

Rodrigues-Birkett wrote ““the threat of sanctions from the High Commissioner is not new. That very threat was made regarding Local Government Elections. Yet when a date by which the elections was slated to be held was announced by President Ramotar, it appeared no longer important enough to encourage the other parties to work together to see it materialize. That threat was also not that veiled when Guyana voted a particular way on an issue at the UN. Of course we were vindicated on the latter with recent developments.”'

The above comments have disappeared from Ms Rodrigues-Birkett Facebook page too.

At least two media houses are on record as quoting the now missing FB comments.

So far the Foreign Minister hasn't denied she commented on Facebook.

So, we're back to the original question raised: Why hasn't President Ramotar released the date for general elections, a date which he has already decided on as revealed by Ms Rodrigues-Birkett?
