I met a young couple up here just yesterday (Sunday) as we sat by the docks watching the boats as they sailed by. They seem to know the firecracker.

I forget to mention it was a Guyanese couple.

Cainstah, I hope you have a blast doing that concert.

beautiful song!

Sure is!  Yesterday, a couple of kayakers went over the falls (not a really high drop) which is by where the gig is. Matter of fact, in the video it shows the blue covering I'll be playing under. If u Google, kayakers over Fenelon falls you might see the spot. My only concern for that day is rain, hope it's a good day.

The woman in blue waving to the camera has a beautiful voice, we used to get together for Fri night jam sessions. I haven't seen her since Covid visited. They couldn't do that in a canoe, kayak is safer.

Darn right I have, their special is cheap but it's not halibut nor do I think it's haddock, probably cackabelly or whitefish. That's all I get from there but the family had a chicken meal they serve and loved it.

There is a spot in Lindsay, the two guys worked together out of a chip truck for something like fifteen years, they now have a small shop and I found them awesome. Then there is Spotstar, the husband is Sri Lankan and the wife is Guyanese, I have never met her, he rass probably lie. They make curry an roti ..not bad just so so,you would mash dem up for sure.

I stopped in yesterday and listened a bit to another player, it was nowhere near how it was last Monday when I played. Because it was a long holiday weekend it was crowded, another reason, most of the other places were friken closed. They close on Mondays during winter which I can understand but when you have tourists and it is a friken holiday weekend, plus, they gripe about Covid screwing with their business they should open up.

So there it were, loooong lineups, people sitting in every vacant spot, on the boulevard, just packed. But they were given a treat by I'MKEN.
