Antabanta it is not a matter of excluding anyone. When you have a sovereign country you can have the tools to protect your own people. Perhaps your views might get a little more respect if you were to stand up for the rights of your GUYANESE people which will encompass discrimination from all sources directed to all victims. How do you get a government to be inclusive? By not speaking out against blatant racism against a particular racial group? Would the problem of racism perpetuates if an Amerindian chief charge that the central government's budgetary allocations reflect favoritism to Non-Amerindians? For our government to be inclusive they must accept and encourage pressure groups to speak out on issues that they feel are discriminatory. This is the only way we can have a more understanding society. Declaring every group's complaints as part of the problem is non-sensical.

Please explain the logic behind this statement. Why would individual groups be complaining if they're not part of the problem? Are you claiming that it is nonsensical to approach the government with a list of discriminatory acts against various parties?

Prashad you need to accept reality... a sovereign state in Guyana for Indians will never happen. You are torching yourself and this is unnecessary stress on you ... I will think!!!
This is not the way to unite people. In today's generation, you dare not speak of segregation.
India doesn't have this ....
it can be interpret as a hate crime in Canada and you are in the Military.
"A hate crime is a criminal offence committed against a person or property, the motive for which is based in whole or in part upon the victim's race, religion, nationality, ethnic origin, gender, disability or sexual orientation."
Antabanta you see this woman here. That is Ayelet Shaked. She is the Israeli Justice Minister and an Iraqi Jew. She is a highly trained soldier and computer expert that can probably slice you up with a knife in a few minutes. It is not how much muscles you have or strenght you have but the extensive training that you have had. If East Indians receive quality training they can be excellent soldiers.

Guyana border are man made. And in dispute with Venezuela and Suriname. Brazil already took half of Ankoko.
I see nothing wrong wid cooolie people teking from Abary to Crabwood Creek.

In all seriousness, Indo Guyanese are picked on and given a really hard time to make them quit. Few years ago, a friend of my father-in-law's son was beheaded because he found out about an internal arms smuggling ring and refused to join.

Venezuela is occupying Ankoko not Brazil. Suriname is claiming New River Triangle. They tried in 69 and were promptly expelled. There is an excellent article by Michael Chan-a-sue, one of the pilots involved in the operation. The one thing Granger did that I like was when Maduro sent troops to the Venezuelan border, he responded by moving units to our border.
I will share this with everyone. I must admit I am guilty at times expressing my views, which can be... due to personal experience ... but everyone is Not the same .
At the East Coast car park, a East Indian was intoxicated and sitting on the edge of a concrete barrier, he fell backwards in a muddy canal ... the Indians who were around fail to render any assistance . A few blacks came together and help him out and wash him down. The Taxi and bus drivers ( INDIANS)refused to take him in there vehicle.
The blacks pool money and a black taxi driver takes him home .

Absolutely right. I think I said this a few weeks ago. The older generation has the burden of what they, both sides, endured. We can't expect them to forgive and forget overnight. We were not in their shoes. My parents kept political discussions away from us but every once in a while I'd hear stories. Some of them you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. The younger generation has the luxury of not carrying that burden. It's going to be up to us and the future generations to move forward and I'll keep the faith that one day it will happen. Maybe not in my time.

Well true to a point. Had he not been Indian, would he have been spared the beheading? We don't know. I know a soldier who served under Granger and when I expressed hope that a military man might be able to straighten things out, he said Granger was a racist and was particularly harder on the Indo Guyanese. I also knew one other Indo Guyanese soldier and he went through a hard time. Fortunately he was a badass so nobody really wanted to tangle with him.

The public service has majority of blacks... the blacks spend their money at the Indian businesses . At The blacks restaurant more spices/ ingredients in the food not forgetting napkins and cutlery in abundance... not the same at Indians restaurant.

I can't think of anything honorable the GDF has ever done for Guyana. I can think of many dishonorable things they have done at the behest of Forbes Burnham and Desmond Hoyte. The GDF did a shameful job in stopping criminals from using Buxton as a base for crime during operation Plaster Paris. Shame you bastards! The people of Guyana deserve a better military that is free from political ties. Take your hypocritical self somewhere else. We know the military and we know you .
