Sensationalist print medium and its hate for the PPP/C GovernmentPDFPrintE-mail

The greatest, sensationalist print medium in the history of Guyana and the Caribbean can be dependent on for its continuous flow of propaganda, lies, deceit, hate – all the downsides that culminate in one word that epitomises its raison d’ etre and modus operandi – virile hate of the PPP/C Government. And what a great, dark job it has done, thereby creating for itself and publishers an unenviable niche where only its pages can belong.

A most recent example of this print’s ongoing anti-national vendetta and crusade against the government is yet seen on a recent weekend’s front page issue in bold caption: “Guyana Marriott costs three times more than Jamaica”. Without commenting on the merits/demerits of this headline, one can be taken aback by the sustained attack on this project by a publisher, on behalf of his friend, who is trembling at the prospect of his hotel being made irrelevant by this proposed structure.
One cannot fail to observe the wickedness and spite in the paragraphs that once again attempt to stymie another attempt at bringing transformation to Guyana’s hospitality sector. Surely, this publisher and his paper must qualify for the Enemies of Progress award of the Year!
Its publisher has never sought to ascertain the  facts as to this proposed hotel’s construction, much less its relevance to the modernisation process.
But one does not have to be an analyst to understand the dirty, political war against the progressive PPP/C government. In fact, it doubles also as the public mouthpiece of the official opposition. This is well known.
This particular medium can do no worse than it has already done. The comforting aspect, is that its game plan has ever since been exposed; with readership applauding its nuisance value.

The PPP goons like old man coosee and his FAT tiefing PPP friends in the CLUB of BEES are trying to paint a picture that the Marriot is good for Guyan.

But as Luncheon exposed, it is just an attempt to use Taxpayer funds to enrich Private People Pockets Cheaply (PPPC)
