Chiefy, my respect for God and the prophet are way above me writing PBUH. There was a lot of indignation in my comment and I didn't wish to add PBUH to it.

In regard to follow blindly. I see too much Arabizing of Muslims actions all over the world nowadays, even in the great USA. I don't like it. I think if people were not following these preachers blindly, they will be able to recognize the difference between the society during the time of the prophet and now. I can point to every Jumah khutbah where Khateebs make stuff up. That is disgraceful. If that happens in this great open society, imagine the damage those Khateebs do to peoples' minds in remote areas around the world as in many of the cave communities in Pakistan.

Our religion is not based on a Kahteeb or what Saudi Arabia does.

Our religion is based on the Holy Quran and the teachings of our holy and noble Prophet Muhamad (Uwbp). Be careful , Shaitaan has a way of coming through the back door and will magnify things to make it look bad. Stay steadfast for their are lot's of folks who wake up as believers and go to bed as disbelievers.

If you can find just one, just one piece of the good from a Kuthba and practise that, then all the other baloney will go out with the trash.

Read a few verses every week, it will increase your Imaan, that worked for me. Stay the middle ground my brother.
