Martyrs:

A person who sacrifices something of great value and especially life itself for the sake of principle. 

Lallabagee Kissoon, 30 years old, was shot in the back; 19-year-old Pooran was shot in the leg and pelvis; Rambarran died from bullet wounds in his leg; Dookhie died in hospital later that day, and Harry died the following day from severe spinal injuries. These men, through the years, became known as the Enmore Martyrs.

These people were sent back to work and told that their concerns will be taken into consideration. They refused and started a mob scene and vandalize personal property and threatened to take matters into their own hands. Further negotiation was the best way out that could have saved their lives. Their deaths come as willful disobedient. Political intervention makes matters worst. The PPP takes credit for something that is not credited to them. 

The Enmore Martyrs Monument is a political farce to the nation.
