Just to clarify...it was NATO in Bosnia, not a US initiative.
And it took many marches and protests in Washington to get US support.
i remember clearly Biden selling it to Congress before it was approved.
Also Muslim countries were prevented from supplying arms to the Bosnians.
The entire fiasco was so ridiculous that even Israel condemned the lack of action against the Serbs.
I agree it was a complex situation but think about it how can you have 50 different countries supplying arms? they didnt need more arms they needed funding to offset the cost of the WAR.
The United states does not have a shortage of weaponry.
Many of these muslim countries used to take a back seat that however is slowly changing as we can see happening in West Asia today.
