A Guyanese who had been recruited in Georgetown to go to the UK to help in the war effort told me about a fight between West Indian and Guyanese troops with US servicemen because the Americans objected to the white girls dancing with black men! The Americans were badly beaten as they had expected black submission to their racist demands! "Man, they had never experienced kicks and butts from black men before"! When their commander complained to Churchill, he was told to inform his troops not to fool around with Churchill's ns! They were a different breed of ns!
