Anil thug action is a dead weight for the PPP,why wait fire
him now.
* Politically it will be a bad move by the PPP.
* The opposition will use Anil's firing as ammunition against the PPP.
* Right now the PPP's goal is this:
* As of today the PPP is at that magic number.
* Of course, 49% of the Guyanese people will see EVIL in the PPP.
* That's OK---that's how life is---you win half and lose half.

Politically, Anil will have to stay. As you indicated, the opposition need not have any ammunition.
It is the very important to remember that the opposition supported Nigel, Gerhard and others with their terrorist actions in places like Linden and Agricola.
The AFC is bankrupt financially right now, time to sink them.
Anil stays for now.
