As United States Senator Christopher Dodd once said “When the public’s right to know is threatened, and when the rights of free speech and free press are at risk, all of the other liberties we hold dear are endangered”.
We are precariously perched on that precipice
I am in full agreement here with you ASJ but this is where I blame a lot of PPP supporters who blindly supported this government the past 20 years.
Many of us failed to see the deviousness and criminality of this government and they have now slid so far off the edge that there is no turning back now.
It was easy to support the PPP and Roger khan's criminal enterprise. Many did so blindly but they failed to look further and really understand the destruction of the state and the trust in government by the people that was occurring.
The Means does not justify the end. Odeen Ishmael and Rohee both met with the US state department who referred them to Blackwater and other private security companies. Rohee and Ishmael dismissed the US government recommendations and both of them claimed that the US government was referring them to "GEB" security companies to help solve the issue.
They did not even schedule a meeting with one of these companies to have a discussion. The great wisdom of low breed Jagdeo told them nah lets hire a drug dealer to be sherrif.
All of these actions collectively have destroyed any rule of law in GY and it is not clear that any new government would adhere to laws of the country they may be tempted to do exactly what the PPP is doing.
This is why these constitutional challenges and bs the PPP is carrying on with is very destructive.
