panditji i will help out aunty haniffa with the facts. the canadian armed forces comprises the canadian army, the royal canadian navy and the royal canadian air force. its commander-in-chief is queen elizabeth the second who is represented by canada's governor general. in canada's current budget Cad$18.6 billion has been allocated to the armed forces. generally the forces play a defensive and peacekeeping role abroad. canada is not a hawkish country that wants to dominate the world. the forces website: www.forces.gc.ca for more info.
