Why do you people argue over everything? This is a good move by the Govt.

Granger’s bus initiative was good in spirit but just not scalable in a feasible manner. To meet the needs you will need well over a thousand busses. This means drivers, maintenance and all the costs associated with upkeep. What happens during the day, the busses park and drivers sleep?

In addition, the government is getting back in competition with private operators. This is a failed model.

The PPP needs to take some additional steps apart from the 10k. This is just one component.

You people need to be more positive. neither was all bad however, I believed the PPP approach is more scalable.
