You illustrate exactly as I stated...toxic, vengeful...by riding on the wings of the pejorative. I can claim kindred to Indianness more than fools like you who believe it is only in progeny it gets meaning. It is cultural also and something you are ignorant of for sure. I grew up in the culture and had my lotha and tari and my hibiscus chanting "om" just like you as a kid. My paternal grandmother even spoke a lot of hindi which served me well. At least I can get by with it granted there is lots of snickering from my kids and their mom. At least they understood there is no private conversation in hindi with me in the room.
Everyone of my kin are Indians with only my mother standing on the other side of the genetic spectrum with no large family except tribe. There is not a damn thing about Indians you cannot teach me about as I can pass into and out of the culture without you even knowing.

By the way, I have twin daughters whose mother is indian and who grew up in india and that also gives me an insight into the supranational attachments you cling to beyond you which you can ever conceive to grasp. Believe me, Indians in India would not recognize much of what you call Indian culture. I slept with and woke in the arms of an real Indian woman for years so I know a bit of both sides of the coin to speak with authority.
