Perhaps this is what you mean by "more complicated." But it really doesn't matter. We all know Obama would never prosecute a banker, no matter what the banker did wrong. And neither would the AFC, which I suspect is actually based in the Caymans.
They can't put a bank in jail. I listen to PBS actively and I take them much more seriously than fringes in the conspiracy theory mill. They could not build a case against HSBC CEO and senior managers so they extracted a fine, some say small, and HSBC will suffer a reputational damage. That seems to be the consensus among reasonable folks on PBS. You are free to take your daily dose of conspiracies.
If and when I read your posts, I may rest assured that I will find petty and tedious conspiracy allegations against the PPP.
But back to our topic. A typical fringe media outlet, the ABC network, said this about the HSBC deal. Your assertion that "they could not build a case against HSBC CEO and senior managers" is clearly false. The US has RICO statutes on the books for precisely such a circumstance. But the Obama administration made a political decision not to prosecute.
I want you to list those petty conspiracies I have made against the PPP. Please do.
Just return to the beginning of this thread, for example. Penny ante stuff.
