Remanded: Devon Fordyce
on Monday arraigned before Charity Magistrate Esther Sam on a narcotics trafficking charge alleging that on August 19th, at about 17:30h, ranks swooped down on his premises to conduct a search, and unearthed 1539 grams of cannabis and 32 grams of cocaine in various sections of the house and in a chicken pen in the yard. Unrepresented by legal counsel, the 40-year-old defendant denied the charge, but was remanded to September 3rd, when next the case will be called. (Indra Nathram)
