Django, do using Ubuntu allow excel functions  and so on?

one more question. What’s the advantage of using Ubuntu to Windows.

I am not a tech person but knowledge is gud.

Excel per se does not run unless it is run using Wine ( a windows emulator). There are many very powerful spread sheet software that are excel compatible what exists that can do the work.

The advantage of Ubuntu over windows is that it is free, it is faster, it is more secure and it is far easier to use. Windows software has gone to yearly leases where if you do not pay you have a crippled computer. Ubuntu will even run on practically any machine you have junked in the garage. It does not need much hardware power.

Imagine licensing 10 pieces of software per year and not able to use the historical data and you soon realize windows is a financial trap and on top of that it is crap that kills a machine.

Ubuntu is one flavor of linux. There are many flavors. Some are also commercial. Ubuntu is freeware. Most governments are now migrating to linux. It makes no sense to use windows.
