Why are they building the refinery in Linden?  The oil is drilled off the coast of Canje.

For their own. Guyana is now like Africa and Indos will soon become like refugees.

They will need pipelines or tankers to transport the oil from Canje to Linden to be refined.

Canje does not have a coast. Where does it say that the refinery will be built in Linden?

Read it, it deh rite deh!

Funny reading all these GNI pundits already talking about feasibility they never put together a business case themselves.  I’m sure that investors will evaluate all options and select the optimal with the assumptions available.

Anyway, linden is viable as the Demerara river will serve as the conduit using tankers just like with the Bauxite days.  The docking infrastructure is there.

Kudos to the investor!

Yea all that mek sense. But tell abie na. What price dem goin to sell gasoline to Guyoil. Yuh na tink closer to Guyoil store pon de east bank mek more sense? Yu tink de computa system going to cut labour cost to mek up foh de transport cost? Perhaps. That mean dem not goin to employ many people.
