Fruit and vegetables are big business on the export market. It's time we look into what can be done to tap into these markets instead of relying so heavily on sugar.
Trinidad I can see but Barbados hardly has any fruit trees. They import fruit concentrate from Brazil, add water and sugar, package it and then send it back to South America.
