The US, Canada and GB are not investing in Guyana, only the Chinese. Why begrudge them? The US is in hunker down mode as it is too busy paying for ill conceived wars and declining income from tax payers. Were it US companies investing in Guyana many of you critics would have been speaking out of the other side of your mouths. ahahaha
The US and Canada are responsible for 90% of out funding directly or indirectly. Canada has been instrumental is funding our elections.
The Chinese on the other hand give us nothing but have a usurious financial clause that guarantee return on their funding for the falls project.They stand to make money on building and funding the project. Theirs is a moneyy making scheme 100 percent. Indirectly, through the WB etc the US is also there and we expect those to be soft loans. The Chinese will never forgo their loans. The others always do.
