It seems the above posters are not in-tune with current affairs, when they do, they'll see for themselves that Guyana indeed donated US$100,000 to the Government of St Lucia, US$100,000 to the Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines and US$75,000 to the Government of Dominica to assist in their recovery efforts in the wake of the recent heavy rains which resulted in the loss of lives and critical damage to property and infrastructure.

IN response to President Donald Ramotar’s pledge of support made to sister CARICOM states St. Vincent and the Grenadines and St. Lucia, Cabinet has approved the transfer of some US$175,000 to the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA), which recently completed and publicised a needs analysis addressing the situation of the two Eastern Caribbean countries that were hard hit by torrential rains and high winds which caused deaths and severe damage to property and infrastructure over the period December 23/25.
