Guyana needs a solid right wing party, one that will finally introduce harsh immigration laws, and who will introduce political and economic laws with "all guyanese" at heart.
For some time now, Guyana seem to have many illigal immigrants, something that our small country is not used to, at one point or the other, the government will have to do like many other countries and strengthen immigration laws, do like any western country and have "chosen immigration"
hoping such a party emerges soon, because with the oil discovery, and a growing economy, immigration problems will reverse, it has already begun.
Why a right wing party? Sound immigration laws do not mean draconian laws. Guyana is a party to Commonwealth conventions so all commonwealth citizens can get access easily.
Oil should not transform our people beyond its ability to use the resource for the benefit of our citizens. We also have a responsibility to the Caribbean if indeed we become a wealthy state.
