Doesn't happen in Guyana or wherever Guyanese live, only on GNI. 

That's not true. This year I attended a function with predominantly blacks and invited a guest. After socializing a bit I returned to my guest who confided to me, in a hushed tone, his surprise at the evident respect and friendliness. I asked what he meant. He said "well.. you know... black people..." It took me a while to digest. I advised him that he and all his coolie friends who grew up on their verandahs being brainwashed by their ajas and ajis need to descend and be part of their country and mix with their country men and women. I always thought the same as you but this coming from a 30-something Guyanese, educated male was unsettling.
