Please don't rely on Google Translation. This is one of many songs that I worked on, with my Hindustani teacher to translate and put into context. Most times in the poetry a lot of the words are missing. So unless, you able to think in that language it's hard even for most of our Pundits to understand. They make "sensible guesses". I did not know of the controversy in India with this song when it was released.
Our daughters or women folks should not be treated as chattels.
