The fact that there aren't criminal charges, doesn't mean that there wasn't fraud.
And what the audits have proven is that there was definite incompetence.
You are seriously telling us that there was no criminality in the mortgage crisis, merely because no one went to jail?
White collar crimes are harder to prove than blue collar crimes, as there aren't literally finger prints. It requires a paper trail, and with so much evidence missing, that might be hard to construct.
If incompetence was a crime the PPP would definitely be punished, and we know this through the audits.
