What ever the Machiavellian conspiracies that you can concoct about the AFC it remains a more valid entity than is the "Civic" component of the PPP.
Civic remains Cheddi's Bantustan to pretend that blacks were incorporated when in fact they were shut out of the PPP. That piece of nonsense when Sam Hinds was dismissed as president is evidence of this. At least the AFC can contest the LGE on its own. Can Civic?
You must not compare AFC with Civic. From its formation AFC has been a full-fledged political party with its own constitution and organizational structure. On the other hand, from its inception Civic has been the PPP's brainchild and appendage without an independent constitution or organizational structure. Therefore Civic cannot contest LGE solo; the PPP/Civic will do so.
