I was wondering whether Django was going to post this.  I read it in the Stabroek news yesterday and it was helpful. Like Gil. I will refer this to Carib and also to Django. Hopefully, after reading this, Django will cease his slavish mouthing of the coalition talking points on the issue.

I am amused at your low level utterance that "Django is slavishly mouthing the Coalition talking points".The article was posted and well understood by this "bottom house school trained ",whose intelligence is on par or probably above some the highly edumacated [my friend reference to Educated] who post on GNI.

I have copies of the two "Acts" and can point out the errors, have you seen any ?? as a bonus i also have an excellent article, that can shed some light on Constitutional Reform after Burnham death,to reduce the powers of the President. If you are interested i can post it.

Ouote from Article.

SEEKING A DEMOCRATIC PATH: CONSTITUTIONAL
REFORM IN GUYANA
Honourable Hari N. Ramkarran

"The Hoyte Government recognized the demands for constitutional reform
and in 1991 sponsored a motion for the appointment of a select committee for
the purpose. The motion was withdrawn after it failed to gain the support of
the opposition PPP"

I will repeat the PPP had enough time to dump the Socialist,Burnham 1980 illegal constitution, they were not interested, they embraced the power it gives, the reasons they never expected they will lose power.
