It's far more complex than that. I think you have many Indians who remember post election violence.

That is the common thread in conversations with Indians. No fear. Not Burnham. Not aloo and roti.

It's the still justified anger over post election violence targeting Indians. Not targeting the PPP. Not Ministers. Not the President. But ordinary Indians for being Indians.

I understand your point, sir.

I also understand that the PNC conducted an honest assessment of their post-elections protests from 1992 through 2001 and concluded they were counterproductive. The also noted that their demonstrations were infiltrated by agent provocateurs suspected to be paid by Freedom House.

The 2011 post-election APNU marches were free from attacks against Indians. In fact, Rohee's police shot and wounded blacks in that demo, including an ex-army chief.

Late last year David Granger made sure his APNU protests were small and manageable, to avoid infiltration by troublemakers.

i am sure that Shaitaan knows this . . . which is why i question his motives

whythe hell do you think kwamee and lumumba types have become so valuable to the PPP?

David Granger is acutely aware of this danger, which is why he has sanctioned only very narrowly circumscribed demonstrations as Gilbakka has noted . . . to the consternation of many well-meaning (non-violent) opposition supporters who nevertheless prefer a more muscular approach
