Last year, Norway transferred some US$45M for the project and coupled with yesterday’s transfer of US$35, the Amaila project now stands to benefit from an accumulated sum of US$80M.

Amaila Falls Hydroelectric Power project will become a reality for Guyana.

You got lines with God to have a flood in that dry up place? Or the Govt gonna flood people out as they did to those poor people lil time ago?

Facts ....

1. The main stem of the source for the hydroelectric project indeed has a few periods of low or no flows.

2. The accomplishment of the project depends on merging flows from other streams to provide, with a 0.001 probability of occurrence, the operation of the works.

3. Of note, as I have stated on a few of the topics, there are numerous hydroelectric projects in the world which are build on streams which are augmented by flows from other streams.

4. Also, I provided examples of hydroelectric developments for which I was the Executive Coordinator for Engineering for projects identical in nature to the Amaila proposal which were built in Canada, Africa and other countries, plus also in Europe when I was working in that area of the world.

Well it will be the IDB and not the PPP who will decide on Amaila.  After all Norway didn't give the funds to Guyana.  It gave it to the IDB for use in Guyana.

Obviously they know that the PPP isn't to be trusted.

As usual, your usual irrelevant views on the specific issues under discussions.
