Victor Mahoney. Given that DC was up to the 60s a segregated city and that VA was a violent Jim Crow state it is quite likely that blacks in DC just don't want to support the coronation of a bigot who enjoys the support of the KKK.
After all many of those kids actually know people who can tell them how the KKK nightriders had them living in fear during the Civil Rights era.
Now I know that you think that you are white, so can pretend that the socalled "Alt Right" is benign, and can be ignored but blacks with a recent Southern background cannot be so complacent.
After all its not that long ago that 9 died in a Southern church at the hands of a bigot. And that same bigot was taken out for a celebratory fast food lunch, after he was arrested, because he complained that he was hungry. He arrived at the prison unscathed.
