The residents were picking up the canister with tear gas and throwing it back at the police and advancing towards the police without fear.
I witnessed the trouble period during PPP Government and did not see police running for their lives, like I witnessed yesterday.
The residents were protesting peacefully until police fired tear gas and rubber bullets at them, that’s what makes them angry. One of the video posted shows the people standing up taking the rubber bullets.
The young man that die yesterday, his death could have been avoided had GECOM did the right thing.
