I believe coolie is made of sugar that they want more cane juice. Jagdeo, on the other hand, is fulfilling his promise to put coolie to wielding the cutlass again. The sugar industry needs modernizing and so do the workers to get out old habits. If the industry is costly to revitalize then why pursue it? The PPP is equally responsible for killing the sugar industry due to overpaid, underskilled management. If Jagdeo wants to invoke the sugar industry from the dead he should think twice. Is he hoping to please his supporters by providing jobs to them or is he looking to bankrupting the sugar industry again? It's one way or the other. Push for TK/Labba analysis.
