Why is he telling the people what the problems are?  Everyone is well aware of the problems.  They are feeling it every day.  As a leader he should be solving those problems.  After all, he was the one who created most of them.

As President, he is putting the spotlight on these social ills and throwing the weight of his office behind it. Is that not what a leader should do? Did Ramotar, Cheddi, or Jagdeo ever speak candidly about these issues that "everyone is well aware of...."?

The PPP left us with a narco state, bullet riddled bodies and drug wars for turf unprecedented and unseen in Guyanese history not to mention extra judicial killings. Widespread money laundering and the spawning of crackheads everywhere, casualties of the "newfound wealth" alyuh boasted of so proudly as empty buildings sprung up as evidence of alyuh dark sins. Blood everywhere.

Now those same casualties, the drug addicts with a habit are still around looking for a fix, ready to blow someone away for the $5 they need to buy a bag while alyuh ease back in your hammock and talk about "progress". A drug culture feeding on itself by promising easy money to young people either directly or thru associated "industries" like gun running, prostitution and sex trafficking.

Much blabber about "economy" and "GDP", "aile" and "growth". To his credit Granger realizes those are dependent on our most important asset - human capital.

Argue about the effectiveness about the initiatives he pointed out instead of chastising the man for recognizing significant social ills, be willing to candidly discuss it and draw civic organizations into the fight.

90% fake news coming from the Iguana. He just repeating the lies the PNC and AFC used while they were in the opposition.
