The PNC did not merge with the PPP. They formed an alliance with a couple of rejects from the PPP. The most votes they can muster are about 20,000. It's not enough to obtain a majority.

On the other hand more members from the PNC have joined the PPP and only a few have joined the PNC from the PPP.

Elizabeth Harper will bring in a lot of votes. She is more qualified and experienced than Moses Nagamootoo would ever be. She will make a better Prime Minister than Nagamootoo.
