Precisely what is necessary when these crows come to the diaspora to spread lies to defuse dissent of their their horrible regime.
They intimidate people in Guyana, much as the Burnham regime did. And they then are shocked when they go to the diaspora and spread lies, and people aggressively confront them.
The Guyana High Commission is supposed to represent ALL GUYANESE, and not just specially invited old time communists living in the nostalgia of Janet Jagan. Their attempt to intimidate the man to shut up fell flat.
If a government wishes to spread lies to their diaspora then some one has a right to correct them. I applaud this man for doing exactly that.
Given the majority African composition of the UK based Guyanese population and the fact that the Indians there were mainly people who are near 80 in age means that the whole premise of the meeting is suspect. Their focus was on that age group who are still mired in the difficulties of the 60s, so will support the PPP even if that party went Pol Pot on them.
Who are the fooling? Your average Guyanese isn't even old enough to focus on Burnham much less the 60s. And those in their 80s who never left Guyana are mainly DEAD!
